The Alec Mildren Racing Team Mildren Maserati Sports Car was driven by drivers such as Ralph Sach, Kevin Bartlett and Frank Gardner.
The Chassis was built by Bob Brittan of Rennmax and when Ross Ambrose (Van Diemen co-founder and father of V8 Supercar star Marcos Ambrose) bought the car from Alec, he asked Alec and Bob if they would mind if he renamed the car to Traco Rennmax, since he had just fitted a Traco engine from one of the Scarab F1 cars.
